Ramna Kali Mandir

Ramna Kali Mandir The Ramna Kali Mandir also known as the Ramna Kalibari (house of the Hindu Goddess Kali) was one of the most famous Hindu temples of the Indian subcontinent. It was believed to be over a thousand years old and was situated in Dhaka (capital of present day Bangladesh on the outskirts of the Ramna Park (now renamed as Suhrawardy Udyan). The temple was bulldozed by the Pakistan Army on 27th March 1971 as it commenced its genocide during the Bangladesh Liberation War.
The Ramna Kali Mandir must be rebuilt at the same spot where it originally stood.

National Defence College (NDC)

National Defence College (NDC) National Defence College (NDC) a tri-service organisation modeled on the Royal College of Defence Studies in London. It is a top-level institute to train the senior officers of the defence and civil services for high responsibility in defence and national security. The NDC was formed following a decision of the Governing Body of the defence services command and staff college (DSCSC) on 7 December 1996. The first two courses were conducted at the facilities of DSCSC, starting in 1999, and now the NDC has moved to its purpose-built building at the former site of the Military Museum in Mirpur Cantonment.

Kabi Nazrul Government College Kabi Nazrul Government College was originally established at dhaka by a grant from the mohsin fund in 1874 as Mohasania Madrasah in the model of Calcutta Alia Madrasah. Langalband

Langalband Langalband a Hindu holy place situated on the bank of old brahmaputra close to Dhaka-Chittagong highway, 20 kilometres to the southeast of Dhaka city. Every year on the 8th day of lunar fortnight in the Bengali month of Chaitra, thousands of Hindu devotees from home and abroad assemble there for Astami snan, a holy bath in the river. They believe that this bath will please Brahma and they will be relieved of their sins and distresses.
To facilitate bathing for the devotees, benevolent persons built a number of bathing ghats.
