Rakhain, The a small tribe of arakan origin belonging to the Bhotbarmi community of the Mongoloids. Many consider that Rakhains and their neighbours, marmas are in fact, the same tribe. The skull of Rakhains is round, their nose is flat, they have black hair, they are usually short in height, and their complexion is light brown. A section of Rakhains started living in ramu and its adjacent areas in chittagong hill tracts in the fifteenth century.

Zinda Pir's Tomb Complex situated less than half a kilometre to the west of Khan Jahan's tomb at Bagerhat. Zinda Pir's real name is said to be Ahmad Ali. Enclosed by an outer wall of 33.22m square with a triple entrance gateway in the north the complex consists of a single-domed tomb of the saint himself, a single-domed mosque and a number of brick-built graves ascribed to the family members of the Zinda Pir.

Shahid Suhrawardy Hospital established as 'Ayub Central Hospital' in 1963 at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka. It is a general hospital with all modern facilities and is owned and managed by the government. Its buildings and the compound stand on an area of about 19 acres. The outdoor facilities of the hospital serve about 970 patients daily and the indoor facilities are provided by departments of medicine, ophthalmology, surgery, ENT, child diseases, dermatology, gynaecology, physiotherapy, and dentistry.

Keokradong (or Keokradang) is the third highest mountain peak located in South-Eastern Bangladesh. It was long claimed as the highest peak there, a mistaken infomration that still features in respected sources including some Bangladesh textbooks as well as the CIA World Factbook website.
On the top of Keokradong there is a small shelter and a signboard put up by the Bangladeshi military proclaiming the altitude to be 3172 feet. Garmin GPS recorded 974 metres (3196 feet) at this location, a measurement consistent with Russian topographic mapping and SRTM data.

Hajong, The an ethnic group living in the hilly parts of mymensingh district. Some of them live in the sherpur, sylhet and netrokona regions. Their main settlements are in sreebardi, haluaghat, nalitabari, Susong durgapur, kalmakanda and Birishiri areas. In terms of ethnicity, they are descendents of the Kachhari people of the Mongoloid race.

Former President Ershad, a Rangpur native, was responsible for many additions to Rangpur. He donated land for a zoo with a large park in the center of town. The zoo has a variety of animals, mostly in small British-era style cages. The zoo does have a large aviary, a small monkey cage and an endangered Bengal tiger, in addition to a rhinoceros, lions, a leopard, peacocks, alligators, turtles, spotted deer, and many other animals.

Chittagong Municipal Model High School established first as a junior English school in 1880 by Shyamacharan Sen, a social worker of Gairala village of patiya, chittagong at the present location of the Baptist Mission Church in Firingibazaar of Chittagong. Shyamacharan was also the first headmaster of the school. Later, Chittagong Municipality shifted the school to its present place and upgraded it to a high English school. Its management was also taken over by the municipality.
